The author does not utilize generative AI in the creation of their books or illustrations, nor support the use of AI generated “art” in creative projects, such as works of fiction and images/illustrations. If you notice an image you believe to be AI, kindly make a good-faith effort to notify the author using the Contact page of this site.

  2. The author will provide a content guide for parents so they may make informed decisions about their child’s reading. These content guides can be found at the bottom of this page and may contain spoilers. This content guide is not standardized or professional, merely the author’s best effort at helping parents make informed decisions. The author recommends parents also read the book(s) to help inform their decision.

  3. The author will not be interacting with reviews, whether positive or negative, and will not be soliciting paid reviews.

The King’s Starkeeper Content Guide:

  • Ages 13+

  • Fictional curse words such as “Earth’s fire” and “fire scorch it”

  • A man leers at a young woman and makes rude comments before another man steps in and threatens him, not explicit but very young children might be confused or disturbed

  • A man and a woman kiss passionately, not sexually explicit

  • A man is stabbed by a villain, not graphic but could be upsetting for very young children

  • A monster is slain, not graphic but could be upsetting for very young children

  • Several sword fights and wounds, no excessive gore

  • An encounter with a frightening, ghostly woman, could be upsetting for very young children
